Biography
Kenny Wheeler was a Canadian jazz composer and trumpet player who was known for his innovative sound and approach to improvisation. He was born on January 14, 1930, in Toronto, Canada. Wheeler began his career in the 1950s and played with some of the most well-known jazz musicians of the time. He is perhaps best known for his work with the Anthony Braxton Quartet, as well as his own solo albums. Wheeler passed away in 2014, leaving behind a legacy as one of the most influential jazz composers of his generation.
