Alan Silvestri is an American composer and conductor known for his film and television scores. He was born on March 26, 1950. Silvestri's works include the scores for “Back to the Future” trilogy, “Forrest Gump”, “The Polar Express”, “The Avengers”, and many more. He has also received two Academy Award nominations for Best Original Score, and has won three Grammy Awards.
