Ferenc Farkas was a Hungarian composer born on December 15, 1905. He studied composition at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music. He is known for his works in a neoclassical style and was influenced by the folk music of Hungary. His compositions range from operas, ballets, chamber music, to choral music, and have been performed around the world. He passed away on October 10, 2000.
