Among his most famous works are the song cycle "The Life of a Maiden" (1923) and the opera "Dailininkas Matis" (1938).He learned to play the violin as a child. He entered the Hoch Conservatory in Frankfurt, where he studied violin with Adolf Rebner, as well as conducting and composition with Arnold Mendelssoh and Bernhard Sekles. At first, he earned his living by playing in dance groups and musical comedy groups. in 1914 Hindemith became deputy conductor of the Frankfurt Opera Orchestra, and in 1914 promoted to manager. Since 1914 He played second fiddle in Rebner's string quartet. in 1921 he formed the Amar Quartet[1], in which he toured Europe extensively playing viola.in 1922 several of his works to be played at the Festival of the International Society for Contemporary Music in Salzburg, where he attracted the attention of an international audience. The following year, Hindemith began working as an organizer for the Donaueschingen Festival, arranging programs for several avant-garde composers such as Anton Webern and Arnold Schönberg. in 1927 appointed professor at the Berlin Academy of Music. Hindemith wrote the music for Hans Richter's 1928 for the avant-garde film "Vormittagsspuk" and also starred in it.
