Alessandro Marcello was an Italian composer born on August 24, 1669. His greatest contribution to the development of musical Baroque was his Concerto for Oboe and Strings in D minor, which later became popular music literature and recommended as one of the best Oboe concertos in the catalog. Also, he had a famous brother named Benedetto Marcello, who was a lawyer, and also participated in musical projects together.
