Biography of a Spanish violinist and composer. Born in 1844 in Pamplona, died in 1908 in Biarritz. Studied at the Paris Conservatory. As a child, he played at the Spanish royal court. His violin playing was beloved all over the world. He also played with Berthe Marx-Goldschmidt. Additionally, he was known as a famous composer, particularly for his work "Zigeunerweisen".
