Henryk Wieniawski was a Polish composer and violinist. He was born on July 10, 1835 in Poland. Wieniawski is one of the greatest violinists of his time, as well as one of the most significant composers of the Romantic era. His musical material is often based on dance rhythms and folk melodies. Wieniawski also helped to create a modern violin school, which is now a standard part of music education programs.
