Karl Jenkins is a Welsh composer and musician. He was born on February 17, 1944, in the United Kingdom. Jenkins is known for his work in the classical genre as well as for creating music for advertisements, television, and films. He has won numerous awards for his work, including two British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors awards, as well as a Grammy Award.
