Nomeda Kazlauskaitė-Kazlaus is a soprano and a laureate of international competitions, winner of the Ministry of Culture's young creator award (2007), creator and host of the LRT program "Skambantys pasauliai," chairperson of the V. Jonuškaitė-Zaunienė singers' competition jury (2013), and a member of the LRT project "Auksinis balsas" committee (2013, 2014). She is regularly invited to perform at prestigious European theaters and halls and takes part in international projects. Since 2000, she has been singing with the 20th century opera legend Montserrat Caballé.
The soloist is the author and performer of the Lithuanian composers' educational concert series "Lietuvos muzikos magija" (2009, dedicated to the 1000th anniversary of Lithuania) and "Lietuvos muzikos magija II" (2014). She is the first Lithuanian Brunhilde in Richard Wagner's opera "Die Walküre," a role she has performed more than 20 times at international festivals. The soloist also sang the first Lithuanian Isolde and performed the first concert version of Act II of Wagner's "Tristan und Isolde" in Lithuania.
Nomeda Kazlauskaitė-Kazlaus was a guest performer at the anniversary inauguration gala concert of the international festival "XV Castell de Peralada," as well as at the Moscow Spring and the inauguration of the Grand Hall of the Moscow Bolshoi Theatre, where she performed alongside Montserrat Caballé. She is also a winner of the prestigious Richard-Wagner-Verband Bayreuth scholarship and collaborates with Caballé as a vocal teacher and music conductor. Internet users describe the soloist as having an impressive, powerful voice, enchanting timbre, and exceptional musicality.
