I. Education: The person has a higher education degree in journalism from Vilnius University, obtained in 1989. II. Work Experience: The person has worked at many positions such as being a Lecturer and an Assistant in Journalism Institute of Vilnius University Faculty of Communication, Head of Public Relations Division at the Public Relations Department of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, and as a Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper "Vilniaus Balsas" at the Vilnius City Council of the Sąjūdis. The person has also been the Director of the Journalism Institute of Vilnius University Faculty of Communication from 2006-2008, and the Chairman of the Faculty of Communication from 2007-2017. In addition, the person has been a member of the Department of Political Communication at the Journalism Institute of Vilnius University Faculty of Communication since 2017. III. Public Activities: The person has held many public duties including being a member of the Media Council since 2017, the Secretary of the Commission for Perpetuation of Lithuanian Linguistic Heritage and Traditions of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania from 2003-2016, the Chairman of the Science Council of The National Library of Lithuania from 2011-2017, now a member since 2018, and the Chairman of the Development Council of Vilnius University Culture Center from 2014-2018. The person has also co-authored the Program for the Years 2010-2014 for Celebrating the Year 2014 as Kristijonas Donelaitis Year and the 300th Anniversary of the Birth of Kristijonas Donelaitis, which was adopted by the Resolution No. XI-878 of June 3, 2010, and the commemorative program (2009-2014) of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.
