priest, writer Kazimieras Čiplys (secret Vijūnas). Studied at Panevėžys men's gymnasium. In 1925, he graduated from the Kaunas Priestly Seminary. He was ordained in the Panevėžys district (Naujamiestis, Vadokliai) and in the districts of Pasvalis, Kupiškis, Birži, Rokiškis, and Utena. In 1949, he was arrested and deported to the Irkutsk camp. Wrote plays.
