The director's creative style began to take shape while still studying at the St. Petersburg Theater Institute. Already the first performances created during the study years - "Wedding" (1995), "Uzhrasai iš pogrinđios" (1996), "Waiting for Godot" (1996) - were innovative, welcomed as a radically new word in stage art. It is possible to single out the most important authors for the director, to name the creative vectors. These are W. Shakespeare, Anton Chekhov, Bertold Brecht. By the way, he is one of the first artists who condemned Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
