is one of the Latvian National Opera leading soloists. In 2007 he graduated from the J. Vitols Latvian Academy of Music. He has participated in master classes and has continued to develop his vocal prowess with Paolo de Napoli.
Raimonds Bramanis made his debut at the LNOB in 2008 as Papageno in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte. In the years since he has played Belcore and Nemorino (L'elisir d'amore), Masetto (Don Giovanni), Basilio (Le nozze di Figaro), the Prince (The Love for Three Oranges), Ismaele (Nabucco), Alfredo Germont (La traviata), Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto), Macduff and Malcolm (Macbeth), Roberto (Le Villi), Alfred (Die Fledermaus), Ļensky (Eugene Onegin), the Architect (Ē. Ešenvalds’ The Immured), the title role in Faust a.o. In 2015 he was awarded the “Latvijas Gāze” Annual Award for Opera 2015 as Best Opera Soloist.
In 2019. Raimonds Bramanis performed the title role in Gounod's Faust with Trondheim Symfoniorkester & Opera. In 2019, he performed with NDR Orchcestra (conductor Riso Joost) in Gewandhaus Leipzig and Theater Erfurt and role of the Duke in Verdi's Rigoletto at Opera Hong Kong. The artist has also portrayed Alfredo Germont in Magdeburg, Germany. In 2011, along with the soprano Dinara Alieva, he performed at the Prague State Opera under the baton of Ratislav Štúr. He was part of a concert production of Verdi’s Otello together with the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Karel Mark Chichon (2012).
The singer has also gone one tour with the LNO to Macau (2013) and the Estonian National Opera in Tallinn (2011)
