Over 45 years, as singer, composer, scholar, teacher, philosopher and writer - his contribution to India’s classical music culture and Dhrupad revival has been enormous.
He was awarded the Kendriya Sangeet Natak Akademi Puruskar in 2013. He has performed Dhrupad all over India and in more than 50 countries in the world. He shares his wisdom from grass root level to acclaimed platforms.
