While still a student, she wrote poems and scripts for student evenings. The first short story "Through the fields" (Через поля) was published in 1972. in Aurora magazine. After that there was a break of ten years. The first play written for amateur theater (1973) "Music Lessons" was staged in 1979. "Moskvorieche" in the theater, which was immediately banned by Soviet censorship. It was published only in 1983. The writer's next play "Činzano" was staged by the Lviv theater "Gaudeamus". Professional theaters became interested in her plays only in 1980. Taganka Theater produced her play "Love", "Kolombina's Apartment" - Sovrenenik Theater, "Moscow Choir" MHAT. For many years, no one published or performed the writer's works, because they depicted real, unadorned Soviet life. She wrote and put the pieces in drawers. Dialogue plays were written at that time - "Glass of Water", "Isolated Boxing"; play - monologue "Songs of the 20th century" and others. The prose works of the writer seem to complement the stage works, they reflect the girl's life from youth to old age, as if in a film. These are works: "Veronika's Adventures", "Klara's Story", "Ksenia's Daughter", "Country", "Who Will Answer?", "Mystic", "Hygiene" and others. in 1990 the writer created the series "Songs of the Eastern Slavs", 1992 - the short story "Night time". She is also an unforgettable writer for young readers, who creates beautiful fairy tales for them as well as for adults: "Well, mother, well", "Fairy tales told to children", "Little witch" and others.
