Graduated from Klaipėda 10th Secondary School. Graduated from the School of Music with a degree in accordion, sang in the boys' choir "Gintarėlis. His first song was "Ajero žiedas" by Sigitas Geda in 1982.
He graduated from Kaunas Polytechnic Institute with a specialization in computing. During his studies he played in numerous student projects.
He played in a singing poetry duet with guitarist and singer Linas Taraškevičius (1984-1985).
In 1998 he formed the rock band "Les Stagnateurs" in order to satirize pop music. The rock band played music combining elements of jazz, electronica, funk, disco music genres.
The band created songs and music using the prism of sarcasm.
The band played in the music groups Vizitas (1987-1988), VIA Stagnates (1988-1989), E. Petrov's band (alternative, progressive rock, 1988-1989), "Žuwys" (1990-1991, alternative, avant-garde), "Shekit" (1990-1993, metal rap, hit song "Zbignievai, kelkis"), "Gin'Gas" (since 1991, funk, soul, superhits "Vynelio", "Jons dėjo"), "Dalyvis" (since 2009, metal rap, superhits "Ar tu matei", "Statistiniai duomenys", "Shit's Great").
Created collaborative works with hip-hop musicians Donatas Zacharovas (Broo), Igor Ragozinas (YGA).
Popularises funk and jazz music in Lithuania.
Initiator of the jazz festival "Šiauliai Jazz".
Together with the musicians of Šiauliai county (drummer G. Gascevičius and others) he started the Šiauliai county music awards (ŠAMA), the "Šiauliai Nights" series of events.
In 2013 he received the Šiauliai Culture and Art Prize for his innovative ideas enriching the cultural life of the city.
Produced and hosted the following shows: "Tangomanija", "Rokijada", "Shekit worm", "X klan", "Diary of a wanderer", "What will people say", "Don't say op without tasting", "Boomerang", "I buy and I win", "The second one is always hot".
Created a solo music project "1 + 1", a video clip for the song "Esmeralda" by Šiauliai musician Algimantas Butnorius.
