Matteo Bocelli is the youngest son of Andrea Bocelli and his first wife Enrica. He studied at the Conservatory in Lucca and at the age of 18 made his first public appearance as a singer at the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico, which was built on the initiative of his father. In 2017, for the 30th anniversary of the David Foster Foundation, he performed at the Miracle Concert in Vancouver alongside stars such as Steven Tyler and Robin Thicke. In 2018, he appeared as a model in a Guess advertising campaign alongside Jennifer Lopez.
The duet Fall on Me with Matteo is included on Andrea Bocelli's number one album Sì from 2018, also in the Spanish version Ven a mi. The song was released as a single and father and son appeared together several times, for example on the show Welcome to Carmen Nebel, on Dancing with the Stars, on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, at the Sanremo Festival 2019 and at Andrea's concerts Bocellis. The song was also used in the soundtrack to the film The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. It reached number 16 on the Canadian singles charts.
Bocelli has the same manager as his father and signed a record deal with Capitol Records (Universal) in 2019. Together with his father and sister Virginia, Bocelli released the Christmas album A Family Christmas in 2022, which was internationally successful. His first solo album Matteo was released in 2023.
