Graduated in Journalism from Vilnius University in 1973. 1972-1984 and 1988-1990 correspondent of the newspaper "Tiesa", political commentator, 1984-1988 correspondent of the weekly "Moscow News" in New York, 1990-1991 deputy director general of Elta. 1991-1992: contributor to foreign periodicals and information agencies. 1992-1993 Press representative of the President of the Republic of Lithuania, 1993-1994 of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, 1994-1997 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania. 1997 State consultant on foreign information issues. 1997-2001 Freelance journalist, foreign correspondent, TV presenter. 2002-2008 and since 2013 Adviser to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania on Public Relations. 1989-2001 Vice-Chairman of the Lithuanian Union of Journalists. Founder and board member of the Lithuanian-European Institute. Vice-Chairman of the Ričards Mikutavičius Foundation. Since 2016 - Vice-Chairman of the Vytis Support Foundation, initiated and built the sculpture of the "Soldier of Freedom" in Kaunas, monuments to Žygimantas Augustas and Bernardas Brazdžionis in Pasvalys.
