1967-1971 studied pharmacy at Kaunas Medical Institute. He held individual exhibitions in Lithuania (1987-1988, 1993, 1996) and abroad (Tallinn, 1988, Warsaw, 1995).
Cycles of photographs: "Views of Vilnius" (1986-1992), "Lithuanian towns" (1988-1992), "Silent nature" (since 1991). His photographs are conceptual, his motifs are minimalist and fragmentary. The background of the works changes slowly from ash grey to complete blackness, reminiscent of a feather drawing.
