Art historian, critic, exhibition curator, senior researcher at the Lithuanian Culture Research Institute.
1983-1989 studied art history at the Art Institute (now Vilnius Academy of Arts). 1995-1996 internship at the University of Vienna. 15 March 2001. The doctoral dissertation "Anthropological Dimensions of Lithuanian Art of the 1970s-10s of the 20th Century" was defended at the Academy of Fine Arts. 1989-1994 worked at the Centre for Contemporary Art (until 1992 - Directorate of Art Exhibitions), 1992-1995 edited the art section of the cultural weekly "7 meno dienos". 2002 - curator-coordinator of the Lithuanian National Exposition at the Frankfurt Book Fair, head of publishing projects at the Public Institution "Organising Committee for Participation in the Frankfurt Book Fair". 2002-2007 lecturer at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, since 2013 lecturer in art history and visual studies at Vilnius University. Since 2004 she has been working at the Lithuanian Culture Research Institute (until 2010 - Institute of Philosophy, Culture and Art). Since 1995 a member of the International Association of Art Critics (AICA), since 2016 a member of the Lithuanian Artists' Union.
