One of the most famous works is "The Man", staged in 1986, Kaunas
Brothers Česlovas Mazūras and Vitalijus Mazūras. Graduated from Šiaulėnai secondary school. In 1973 graduated from the Lithuanian Art Institute, teachers Gediminas Jokūbonis, Petras Aleksandravičius. From 1973 to 1989, lecturer at the Čiurlionas Art School, from 1989 at the Lithuanian Art Institute (from 1990 at the Vilnius Academy of Arts), from 2001 Head of the Sculpture Department; from 2008 Professor.
One of the pioneers of bronze original casting in Lithuania. Creates monumental and chamber sculpture. His early work is dominated by the human figure, often a female figure, characteristic cultural associations, paraphrases of ancient sculpture ("Woman's Torso" 1977, "Nike", "Earth Mother", both 1978), uses stones and metal ("Bumblebee" 1994). She creates conceptual projects for exotic plants, combining live plants with stones, trees, metal and other materials ("Tree in Stone" 2000, "Fig Tree" 2001, "Ship" 2003, "Citrina" 2004); a sculptural object, a plant and an irrigation system form an installation characterised by the artistic meaning of ecological problems.
Created monuments, tombstones, medals, in 1997 designed a commemorative coin for 450th anniversary of the first Lithuanian book. The works have a distinct contrast principle: they combine polished and relief surfaces, nature and technology, living and inanimate forms of nature, archaic and innovative elements, use traditional materials, and transform cultural meanings. Since 1974 he has participated in exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad; solo exhibitions were held in Vilnius in 1994-1995, 1998, 2001.His works are held by the Lithuanian Art Museum, the National Museum of Art of Nicholas Konstantinos Čiurlionis.
