Member of the Union of Folk Artists since 1976.Participated in exhibitions since 1975.In 1988 the Kupiškis Ethnographic Museum exhibited a personal exhibition of works by A. Tučiaus. He painted realistic story paintings, not only what he saw, but also what he dreamt about. The author's ability to convey the moods of people dear to him is astonishing. His most famous works include Self-Portrait (1960), Partisans (1979), Sunday (1984), Ustov (1984), Haymaker (1986) and Woodcutters. The Kupiškis Ethnographic Museum has many of his works. A. Tučius is a laureate of the Paulus Galaunė and Adomas Varnas prizes.
