2002 graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music (R. Janeliauskas composition class), 2005 - postgraduate art studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Since 2005 he has been teaching at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. He has attended international composition masterclasses in Bukov (Germany, 1999), Tampere Conservatory (2001), Vilkroz (France, 2002), Dundaga (Latvia, 2002, 2004), Apeldoorn and Warsaw (2003). He has held fellowships at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Lyon (2004-05), Aldeburgh (UK, 2007-08).
