1977 graduated from the Lithuanian Art Institute (studied with J. Adomonis). 1994-98 Chairman of the Lithuanian Artists' Union. Since 1978 participates in exhibitions, international ceramics symposia in Lithuania and abroad (Austria, Finland, Russia, Norway, Italy), individual exhibition in Vilnius (2003, 2020), with his wife Dž. Raudoniene in Vilnius (1982, 1984, 1990-93, 2000, 2006, 2007), Druskininkai (2007), Leliūnai (Utena county, 2019).
He has created ceramic works for public interiors (a panel for the branch of the Kaunas Institute of Medicine's Centre for Cardiology in Palanga, 1977, a decorative wall in the Schoolchildren's Creative House in Vilnius, 1987, an interior sculpture for a building in the Ministry of Health in Vilnius, 1989, both in Vilnius). Since 1993 he has been creating ceramic works for private interiors (Šventovė, Vartai, Krioklys, Pajūris, Vynuogynas, all 1997-2001). Major works: 8 piece cycle Idols (2002-03), Atbraila (2006), 6 piece cycle Cosmos Housing (2007). The work is characterised by restrained, monumental sculpture, vivid texture, laconic details, decorative quality. Since 1983, he and others have been organising conceptual art exhibitions, symposia and biennials in Lithuania (exhibition series Pailininkas ir gamta in Vilnius, with his wife, 1983-87, Keramika ir gėlės in Palanga, with his wife and G. Pinkute, 1985-87, ceramic symposia Harmonija, with others, since 2002, Vilnius Ceramics Biennialė, with R. Mikučionyte, 2010). His works are owned by the Lithuanian National Museum of Art, foreign museums of applied art.
