Laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine (2024).Yaryna Chornoguz was born on May 18, 1995 in the city of Kyiv. Father - artist and public figure Yaroslav Chornoguz; grandfather is the writer Oleg Chornoguz.Graduated from the Faculty of Humanities of the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" (2019, master's degree).In the 2010s, she was an activist of the Vidsich Civic Movement. Participant of the Revolution of Dignity. Coordinator of the "Switch to Ukrainian" initiative, co-organizer of the "Movomarathon-25" project, organizer of the "Spring on Granite" campaign. She was a volunteer paramedic on rotations in the medical volunteer battalion "Hospitaliers".
