1961-1972 she studied at the 23rd Secondary School in Vilnius, 1972-1973 - at the 1st Evening Shift School in Vilnius. In 1973-1977 she studied at the LSSR Conservatoire.
1989 Member of the CPSU, later became a member of the CPSU after the independent LKP split. During the revival, she was active in political activities, elected a member of the Central Committee of the Lithuanian Communist Party at the 20th Congress of the Lithuanian Communist Party, and in 1990 voted in favour of the secession of the Lithuanian Communist Party from the CPSU.
1990, elected to the Supreme Soviet of the Republic of Lithuania (the Reconstruction Seimas), a signatory of the Act on the Restoration of the Independent State of Lithuania. In 1993-1999 she was a member of the Homeland Union. Member of the Vilnius City Municipal Council 1995-1996. Member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania 1996-2000, Chairwoman of the Union of Conservative Women. Unsuccessful candidate in the 1994, 2000 and 2004 Seimas elections. Since 2000 member of the Union of Moderate Conservatives.
