Lithuanian painter, restoration artist.
Wife Rūta Janonienė. Graduated from the Lithuanian Art Institute in 1986. Since 2001 lecturer at the Vilnius Academy of Arts (until 1990 Lithuanian Art Institute). Since 1988 he has been restoring wall paintings, since 2001 he has been a restorer of the highest category.

The paintings ("City Angel" in 1990, "Green Room" in 1991, "Girl and the Sphinx" in 1996) are characterised by a colourful expression, a strong expression of emotions, and a pastoral painting.

Since 1986 he has been participating in exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad - in Hungary, Latvia, Finland, Denmark, Poland, France, France, Russia, Estonia, Germany. He has held more than 25 solo exhibitions (Riga - 1991, Snek, Netherlands - 1992, Bremen - 1995, Vilnius - 2002).His works are owned by the Lithuanian Art Museum, the National Čiurlionis Art Museum, the Alytus Museum of Regional Studies, the Vilnius Gaon Jewish Museum, and museums in the USA.
