1984 graduated from Kaunas Theological Seminary, was ordained a priest. Since 1986 he has been a Franciscan. From 1984 to 1989 he carried out missions in Dushanbe, St. John of God and St. John of God. In 1984-1984 he was a parish priest in Dushanbe. From 1990 to 1992 he studied dogmatic theology at the Pontifical Pontifical University of St. Francis of Assisi.
