Aistė Gaižauskaitė, also known as Aistè, is a Lithuanian singer, songwriter, and performer who has gained recognition for her unique glam pop music style and creative music videos. She is currently based in London, where she balances her artistic pursuits with other roles, including working in cafes and occasionally appearing in advertisements or film sets. Born in Lithuania, Aistė moved abroad at the age of 15 to study at Bergen College in Norway. Her diverse experiences have shaped her worldview and artistic expression.
Aistė's music often explores themes of nostalgia and emotion, blending influences from artists such as Freddie Mercury, Aretha Franklin, Kanye West, Otis Redding, and Viktor Tsoi. She has participated in Lithuania's national Eurovision selection with songs like "We Will Rule the World," earning attention for her distinctive style. Additionally, she has been nominated for Lithuania's prestigious M.A.M.A. awards and continues to release new music, including singles like "Kerai" and "Tirpstu savyje".
Despite her Lithuanian roots, Aistė feels at home wherever she resides, often investing her earnings into travel and creative projects. Her passion for music stems partly from her family heritage—her great-grandfather was a renowned composer and violinist Jurgis Gaižauskas.
