Since 2002, Aistė Bružaitė has been playing in the folk instruments ensemble "Vaivora". She actively participates in concert life, performing in schools, music parades, and foreign festivals. To broaden the possibilities of kanklės music, she participates in various projects with classical music instruments and orchestras. She has performed many pieces by new composers, some of which she initiated herself. Aistė is the first performer of A. Martinaičio's concert for kanklės and chamber orchestra "Aistmares", and has prepared several programs and recorded works with the Vilnius City Municipal Choir "Jauna Muzika" (choir art director and conductor Vaclovas Augustinas).
Aistė has performed solo pieces with the Lithuanian National, St. Petersburg State Capella, and Pskov Symphony Orchestras. She has also prepared and released a collection of the latest kanklės works "XXI Century Music for Kanklės and Kanklės Duet". Aistė plays kanklės duet (alongside kanklės player Jolita Matkiene) and in the ensemble "BAccK" (Aistė Bružaitė - kanklės, Irmantas Andriūnas - birbynė, Danielius Rozovas - accordion).
In 2008 and 2013, Aistė was part of the organizing committee for the III and IV International J. Švedas National Instrument Performers' Contest-Festival, and actively organized concerts and seminars across Lithuania. She has also participated in international and republican conferences and seminars.
Aistė graduated from Skuodas Art School (teacher Seva Kazankovienė) and studied at Klaipėda St. Šimkaus Conservatory (class of Vida Zelenienė). In 2001, she joined the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (class of Professor Lina Naikelienė), and in 2010, completed her postgraduate studies in the field of music at the Academy of Arts, earning a master's degree in music.
Aistė is an expert teacher at the Vilnius Balys Dvarionas' ten-year music school, chair of the folk instruments' methodical group, lecturer at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, and a laureate of national and international competitions for soloists and ensembles. She has also participated in international festivals in Lithuania and abroad (Latvia, Estonia, Russia, India, USA, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Belarus, Germany).
