Budrys is an excellent connoisseur of French music and one of its most active popularizers in Lithuania, as well as an unwavering promoter of the work of contemporary foreign and Lithuanian composers, who has contributed greatly to ensuring that clarinet music is constantly heard in concert halls. A large part of his repertoire has been recorded for Lithuanian radio archives (over 150 recordings), 7 solo and chamber music records, and 9 compact discs.
A. Budrys often collaborates with various chamber ensembles, wind, chamber and symphony orchestras. He has played with all of Lithuania's internationally acclaimed musical collectives and soloists, Poland, Bulgaria, Belarus, Ukraine nationals, "New Jersey" Symphony, "Kansas City" Chamber Orchestra, conducted by B. Dvarionas, S. Sondeckis, J. Aleksa, J. Domarkas, M. Dvarionaite, G. Rinkevicius (Lithuania), O. Durian (France), V. Valek (Czech Republic), Ch. Farncomb (UK), R. Briscoe (USA), and others. The ability to communicate and creativity allows the performer to interpret the nuances of the music style with impeccable virtuosity, beautiful instrument sound, and subtle artistic taste.
