Alīna Vižine was born in Riga, Latvia. Her studies include Emils Darzins Music School where she studied with Nelly Sarkisian from the age of 5 and The Royal Danish Academy of Music where she received her Bachelor’s degree with Professors Serguei Azizian and Anne Søe. Currently she is doing one year Erasmus exchange program in Berlin University of the Arts with Professor Bernhard Hartog.
Alīna has participated in masterclasses with Ilya Grubert, Grigory Kalinovsky, Mayu Kishima, Alexander Trostiansky, Nikolaj Znaider, Gunars Larsens, Sandis Šteinbergs and many other great musicians. In 2015 she won the 1st prize in Latvian National Music Competition. Alīna is also a member of Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester and has been a part of multiple orchestra and chamber music projects/festivals in Europe.
