Anatoly Lomonosov was the first to start playing the sitar in Lithuania. Since 1981 performs North Indian (Hindustani) classical music, and learned its secrets in India. A. Lomonosov had to play in concerts at Ramakrishna Mission, Calcutta Television and Gorky Sadan (Calcutta). He also performed with the most famous performers of classical Indian music, Lithuanian jazz musicians and the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra. A. Lomonosov is a sitar teacher and professional performer, organizer of Indian classical music festivals. He has been playing the sitar for over 20 years, one of the most famous and popular Indian musical instruments.
