composer and jazz violinist who lives in Vienna and teaches at the Vienna University of Music and Arts. He also leads the violin-jazz class at the private Anton Bruckner University in Linz, Austria.As a musician, he is interested in the intersection of seemingly contradictory areas - maximum freedom within the framework of clear architecture, the softest melodic expression of maximum energy, and a new and constantly changing definition of the language of different cultures.He has collaborated with composers and pianists Peter Ablinger and Bernhard Lang, Music Company, Barre Phillips, Bill Elgart, Conny Bauer, Dieter Glawischnig, The Neighbors and Cercle, Tony Oxley, John Marshall, Experimenti Berlin , NDR big band, poet Ernst Jandl and others. He currently plays with Angelika Hagen, Trio MIT (Orwa Saleh und Christoph Cech) and Clemens Salesny: Harry Pepl (Tape)&The (Lonely) Single Swinger Band.
