Armine Hayk Sargsyan is a Lithuanian-born artist of Armenian heritage, whose work reflects her multicultural background and explores themes such as maternity, escapism, illumination, and the complexities of contemporary life. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Site-Specific Art at the Vilnius Academy of Arts.
Her artistic career includes notable achievements and collaborations. In 2022, she partnered with Martynas Arlauskas for an international project showcased at the Bolestraszyce Arboretum in Poland. She also participated in “The Moment” workshop in Tallinn, Estonia, and was a finalist in the A. Švėgžda drawing competition. Additionally, she exhibited her work in "Discoverers of the World" at Akademija Gallery and was a finalist in the prestigious XV Young Painter Prize competition, which highlights emerging talent in the Baltic art scene.
Sargsyan's work often delves into existential themes, as seen in her painting Blanket (2024), which captures the fragility of life under the shadow of nuclear threats and explores notions of comfort, mortality, and timeless cycles. Her artistic practice resonates deeply with audiences by inviting them to reflect on human experiences and temporal traces
