Pianist Audronė Kisieliūtė is an alumna of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (formerly the Lithuanian Academy of Music). She studied in the piano class of Prof. M. Azizbekova and in the concertmaster class of Prof. M. Rubackytė. After completing her basic studies and assistantship with honors, she was invited to work as a concertmaster at the LMTA Solo Singing Department and Opera Studio. In 1987, she began teaching the art of accompaniment at the LMTA Concertmaster Department and is currently an associate professor in this department. Kisieliūtė's class has produced more than 70 graduates, including winners of national and international competitions, graduates, art license holders successfully working in arts and music schools, music conservatories, LMTA, LNOBT, musical theaters in Kaunas and Klaipėda, music and art institutions abroad in Finland, Italy, the UK, France, and the United States.
Doc. A. Kisieliūtė is a member of the LMTA Concertmaster Department competition jury, the “Beatričė” national and international chamber singing competition jury. She participated in the work of the admission committee for the Faculty of Communication (Communicative Creativity) at Vilnius University in 2012. She led concertmaster mastery courses at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts, taught at J. Vitols Music Academy (Latvia, Riga) under the "Erasmus" exchange program, and leads a seminar on the interpretation of French chamber-vocal music "Melodie" for LMTA concertmaster specialty master students.
Devoting her creative concert activity to ensemble music-making, A. Kisieliūtė gives preference to collaborating with singers. She has served as an accompanist in over 15 international competitions, including MARIA CALLAS (Athens, Greece), FRANCESCO VINĀS (Barcelona, Spain), MIRJAM HELIN (Helsinki, Finland), "31HANS GABOR Belvedere singing competition 2012" (Vienna, Austria), competitions in Latvia, Moldova, Georgia, Estonia, Poland, and others. She has performed in various halls and festivals in Germany, France, Switzerland, the UK, Sweden, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, the USA, and others.
A. Kisieliūtė is a productive concertmaster who values interacting with other musicians. This pianist has recorded over 20 hours of music works with various singers and instrumentalists for the Lithuanian Radio Funds, which are broadcast not only in Lithuania but also on European radio stations (BBC, Norway, Slovakia, Poland, etc.). She often uses her talent by collaborating with singer A. Krikščiūnaite, flutist V. Gelgotas, Vilnius and Čiurlionis quartets, Kaunas string quartet, and others.
A. Kisieliūtė’s playing is described as accurate, clear, free, tasteful and beautifully balanced. Her interpretations are appreciated for the subtle sense of chamber music, excellent stylistic sense, ensemble and emotional expression harmony, and sensitivity to the musical environment.
