Music began in the fourth grade when my teacher, seeing my interest in music, suggested I enrol in art school. Fascinated by the brass band, I studied clarinet for 5 years at art school. At that time I also belonged to two orchestras - Vilnius Art School and Jonučiai BRASS. During rehearsals, I liked to sit down at the percussion instruments and experiment. The director of the Jonučiai BRASS orchestra, seeing my enthusiasm, suggested that I continue to learn to play them and join the ranks of the orchestra by playing percussion.
Music, in my opinion, changes human emotions in a fundamental way. When you feel bad or don't understand something in your life, music opens your mind, knowledge, abilities and skills. That's why I'm happy to associate my life with something that gives me only positive emotions. I listen to a wide variety of music, but my heart is mostly in the heavier artistic side - metal, rock.
Of the many concerts I've attended, the one I enjoyed the most was the 2002 St. The then President Valdas Adamkus himself invited me to perform there. It was a great honour for us and the orchestra, and the emotion has lasted to this day. Since 2002 we have participated in the championships with the Jonučiai BRASS Orchestra every year. Later we founded an art school and grew together with the newcomers. We also played percussion in international competitions.
