Contemporary artist and musician based in Tallinn, Estonia. She studied art at the Estonian Academy of Fine Arts, Tallinn and the Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki. Her work focuses on moving spatial installations, intertwined with video and sound projections. She also uses different natural materials to create new indoor experiences, focusing on the problems of sterilising everyday organic products. Ave Vellesalu-Murd is a founder and member of the popular musical duo Vera Vice.
