Time, attention and movement are themes that I pursue. My working methods alternate between spontaneous incidents, reflected observations and systematic studies.
By zooming in on a place, a story or a topic I seek to enhance undiscovered connections, patterns and phenomena so they become visible and available for reinterpretation and storytelling.
It is somewhere in-between the conscious decisions and the unpredictable occurrences that my works find their forms as either photographs, graphic prints, objects or installations.
Artistic collaborations and collective processes is a part of my practice. Recent collaborations include visual artist Iben West, TSM / Temporary Stays and Moves and visual artist Vibeke Jerichau.
For the past few years, I have focused on refining and integrating graphic and textile printing methods into the development of new works and projects. I travel abroad to learn new things, build international relationships and collaborations.
Lately I have build up the graphic workshop MunkPrintLab including facilities for photogravure printing.
I curate and present exhibitions by Danish and international contemporary artists in the project space
