Cesare Chiacchiaretta, born in Chieti, Italy, began studying the accordion at a young age and later took up the bandoneon1. He studied under Maestro Claudio Calista at the Music Academy of Pescara and graduated with distinction from the “N. Piccinni” Conservatory of Bari in 19951.
Chiacchiaretta honed his skills under maestros such as Max and Christiane Bonnay, Vladimir Zubitsky, and Mogens Ellegaard1. He has performed as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles in Italy and abroad, including in France, Russia, Hungary, and Germany. Chiacchiaretta has won prizes at national and international competitions for soloists and chamber music ensembles, including first prize at the “Città di Castelfidardo” international competition in 19931. In 1991, he was chosen as the only Italian representative at the Unesco C.I.A.I.M.C. World Cup, and in 1993, he represented Italy at the 43rd Accordion World Trophy in Setubal, Portugal.
His interest in chamber music has led to collaborations with musicians and actors such as Corrado Giuffredi, Lorna Windsor, and Massimo Mercelli, as well as ensembles like Cuarteto del Angel and Trio sin Palabras. Since its creation, he has been a member of the accordion quartet Accord’Ance, performing in concerts and achieving success in international competitions. He has recorded for radio and television broadcasters in Italy and abroad.
