Graduated in classical guitar in Mexico and in early music at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (Basel, Switzerland). He has mastered various modern and historical plucked instruments (classical guitar, baroque guitar, theorbo, renaissance and baroque lute, jarana jarocha). He performs extensively in Europe and the United States as a soloist and in various Renaissance and Baroque ensembles and orchestras, with which he has recorded several CD albums. He has collaborated with renowned musicians such as René Jacobs, Maurice Steger, Vivica Genaux, Manfredo Kraemer and Bruno Procopio. He has studied with Hopkinson Smith, Jakob Lindberg, Joachim Held, Jacob Heringman, Paul Galbraith and others. He is currently pursuing his Master's degree in Historical Music Performance Pedagogy in the class of lutenist Prof. Julian Behr, at the Academy of Early Music "Schola Cantorum Basiliensis", with a special focus on early Baroque music and musical rhetoric.
