Education: In 1984, graduated from Panevėžys J. Švedas Pedagogical Music School (now V. Mikalauskas Arts Gymnasium), studying in G. Viržonienė's choir conducting class. In 1991, graduated from the Choir Conducting Department of the Lithuanian Conservatory (now Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre) in the class of Prof. A. Jozėnas (diploma "with distinction"), obtaining qualifications as a choir conductor and choir discipline teacher. In 1990, participated in conducting masterclasses at the Mozarteum Summer Academy in Salzburg, Austria, led by Prof. M. Gielen (Austria-Germany). In 1993, completed postgraduate studies in the Choir Conducting Department of the Lithuanian Academy of Music (now Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre) in Prof. A. Jozėnas' class, obtaining the highest qualification as a choir conductor. In 1996, completed bachelor's studies in the Vocal Department of the Lithuanian Academy of Music (now Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre) in Prof. V. Noreika's class, obtaining qualifications as an opera soloist and concert singer. In 1997, completed master's studies in the Vocal Department of the Lithuanian Academy of Music (now Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre) in Prof. V. Workplaces: From 1987 to 1989, choir and concertmaster of the Song and Dance Ensemble "Ugnelė" at the Republican Youth Palace (now the Lithuanian Children and Youth Centre). From 1989 to 1992, concertmaster of the Choir Conducting and Vocal Departments of the Lithuanian Conservatory (now Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre). From 1992 to 1998, lecturer and assistant in the Choir Conducting Department of the Lithuanian Academy of Music (now Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre). From 1998 to 2004, lecturer in the Choir Conducting Department of the Lithuanian Academy of Music (now Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre). From 2004, associate professor in the Choir Conducting Department of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, and from 2018, professor. From 2005 to 2018, led the Vilnius Choral Singing School "Liepaitės," and since 2021, is a teacher of conducting and singing at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts. He has also been a member of the Faculty of Music and Pedagogy Council of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, a member of the Senate of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, the chairman of the Faculty of Music Council (2014-2019), and a member of the Board of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre since 2013.
