Dainius Trumpis graduated from Šiauliai University, Faculty of Arts, MA in Painting, and had an internship at TAIK University, Finland. Since 2009 member of the Lithuanian Artists' Union. The artist is actively involved in the field of art, has held several solo exhibitions, and has been awarded culture and art prizes in Lithuania and abroad. Trumpis combines different forms of artistic expression such as painting, sculpture and object art, creates assemblages, sculptural compositions and paintings. His work often explores social, psychological and philosophical themes. The artist's artistic inspirations cover a wide field, involving various world events and realities, and the works often reflect the artist's travel experiences and different cultural and geographical contexts.
