I completed my painting studies at the Academy of Arts at Klaipeda University and began working as a set designer at Klaipeda Drama Theatre in 2015. The practical and theoretical knowledge I gained was very useful when working with scenographers on sets. Creative work has provided even greater opportunities for painting, allowing me to flexibly and creatively draw on achievements in art and science, think critically, analytically and systematically. First and foremost, I always delve into the conceptualisation of my ideas before approaching the painting process. Continuous creative processes and deep contemplation of my ideas directs me towards plastic thinking about humans and their place in the world. I believe that painting should establish a connection with the environment, not only reflecting the world but also raising questions and changing people's perspectives.
