(Teaching diploma from the Swiss Music Education Association under Rudolf am Bach, concert qualification under Hans Schicker at the Music Academy). Parallel to his musical education, he studied French language and literature, general history and musicology at the University of Zurich and completed his studies with a licentiate. After a year of teaching as a high school teacher in Glarus, he decided to pursue a musical career in 1993 and continued his studies with Hubert Harry at the Lucerne Conservatory. His musical work includes piano duo with his wife Vilma, song accompaniment, chamber music, including CD with works for piano and organ/harmonium, tours, CD recordings and over 150 radio broadcasts with symphony orchestras such as the Camerata St. Petersburg, the George Enescu Philharmonic Bucharest, the Romanian Festival Orchestra and the Pilsen Radio Symphony Orchestra (piano concertos by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Grieg and Liszt), as well as teaching at the Glarus Music School.
