lives in London. In 1991-2004 he represented Lithuanian contemporary dance in 27 foreign countries in Europe and North America in more than 162 festivals with Aura Dance Theatre. In 2000-2001 he worked in the international dance projects Rose is eine Rose and Soung (Tanz Braunschweig) and Une Reina, Reste Une Reine (Mafada, Zurich). In 2004, after the dance performance "The Thief's Diaries" (Aura), Darius stopped dancing and returned to the stage only a decade later with the mono-spectacle "He Lived Nearby" (2014), specially created for him by Ieva Kuniskis.
