Daumantas Kirilauskas is a Lithuanian pianist who has performed in European countries, the USA, and Iran. He has also played with all of the Lithuanian orchestras, as well as with Latvia's Sinfonietta Riga, Finland's Lappeenranta City Orchestra, and Kremerata Baltica Soloists. He has participated in many festivals, including the international Thomas Mann and Gaidos festivals. The pianist's repertoire ranges from baroque to the newest 21st century compositions, with the most important place in his repertoire occupied by Ludwig van Beethoven's work. The pianist has also played in chamber ensembles with prominent Lithuanian and foreign soloists and groups, including the Vienna Artis-Quartett. Daumantas Kirilauskas has released 14 solo albums and has participated in many premieres. Many of his recordings are kept in the archives of Lithuanian radio. He has also played piano tracks in many films and productions. Kirilauskas graduated from the K. Čiurlionis School of Arts (1991) and studied at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, where he received a Master of Arts degree, the highest rating possible. His teachers were Liucija Drąsutienė (from 1984 to 1994) and Karl-Heinz Kämmerling (from 1994 to 2000). Daumantas Kirilauskas is a national and international competition winner. Since 2019, he has been a Bösendorfer artist, and since 2001, he has been teaching at the LMTA piano department.
