Born in Riga, spent her childhood in Čiekurkalne. She attended Riga 8th Secondary School, then Riga Food Producers' Secondary School, where she studied confectionery, baking and candy making. In 2008, after completing a drama theatre directing course at the Department of Screen and Theatre Arts at the Latvian Academy of Culture, he joined the Latvian Puppet Theatre. Puppet theatre is believed to be an inexhaustible art, and the most complex, difficult and magical task is to bring a puppet to life. Edgars' first puppet role was in the adult play "Carmen. The female version".
