Born in Chiba Prefecture. Started playing the saxophone at age 12. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts and completed her graduate studies there. Passed the Ichikawa City Cultural Hall Audition with the highest award (winds and percussion) and performed at the concert. Also passed the Tokyo Cultural Hall Debut Concert Audition and performed at the concert. Won second place at the Nonaka Saxophone Competition in 2003. In addition to her activities in the fields of solo, chamber music, brass bands and recording, she has participated in various ensembles such as "Shimizu Yasuaki & Saxophonettes", "Saxophone Quartet athena", "code"M" and "Otomo Yoshihide Special Big Band", and has performed in various parts of Japan as well as overseas in Moscow, Cuba, Indonesia, etc., and released CDs. He has also planned and produced duo recitals with pianist Kyoko Harada and harpist Aya Horimai, and is committed to developing new saxophone repertoires, including arrangements and commissioned works. He has studied saxophone under Shinichiro Hikosaka, Nobuya Sugawa, Kazuo Tomioka, and Kimitaka Hirano, and chamber music under Hitoshi Nakamura. He is a part-time lecturer at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music.
