Pianist Dr. Eglė Kižytė-Ramonienė finished Juozas Naujalis Music Gymnasium in 2004 and simultaneously entered the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in piano in 2008 and a Master's degree in the class of Professor Halina Radvilaite in 2010. In 2014, LMTA awarded Egle Kižyte-Ramonienė with a doctoral degree in concertmaster specialization under the guidance of Professor Irena Uss-Armonienė and Doc. Dr. Audra Versekėnaitė. In 2007, Eglė Kižytė-Ramonienė took part in the Erasmus/Socrates exchange program and studied in the class of Professor Gilda Butta at Conservatorio di Musica Licinio Refice in Frosinone, Italy. At the same time, in 2009, she did a concertmaster internship at the Lyon Conservatory (Conservatoire national supérieur musique et danse de Lyon, France) in the class of Prof. M. Tranchant. Since 2009, she has been the concertmaster of the Strings Department at LMTA and since 2018, she has been the lecturer of the Concertmaster's Department at LMTA. Since 2009, Eglė has also been a teacher at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts, and since 2020, she has been the chairwoman of the General Piano Methodology Group. Eglė Kižytė-Ramonienė is a professional and sought-after pianist, actively performing in Lithuania and abroad. She collaborates with the Musica Humana ensemble, the Lithuanian Composers' Union, and many famous performers. Eglė's concert programs are performed in famous Lithuanian concert halls such as the Vilnius Picture Gallery, Kaunas Philharmonic Hall, Kaunas Artists' House, Applied Arts Museum, White Piano Hall, and so on. Eglė has performed in Sweden, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Latvia, and Turkey. Furthermore, Eglė Kižytė-Ramonienė reads research-methodical reports at various conferences, writes research articles, and is a laureate of national and international competitions, participates in various courses and festivals. Her research area is satire, irony, parody in 20th-century vocal cycles, text and music interaction.
